Associate
Jugal Shah is an Associate on the Asia Private Equity, Credit & Infrastructure investment team. He is based in Mumbai.
Prior to joining TRG in September 2023, Mr. Shah worked as an Associate at J. P. Morgan covering Energy, Power, Renewables and Metals and Mining starting in 2020 with exposure to multiple transactions in emerging sub-sectors such as hydrogen, grid efficiency and nuclear energy, apart from conventional oil and gas and metals & mining sectors. He started his career in 2016 as a Derivatives trader at Futures First, where he traded agricultural commodities in global markets.
Mr. Shah holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur. He is fluent in English, Hindi and Gujarati.
