Melissa Nicholson works for the Office of the CIO as an ESG and Impact Specialist. She is based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Prior to joining TRG in April 2023, Ms. Nicholson was the ESG Compliance Manager for Ethos Private Equity, which was acquired by TRG in April 2023. During her 17 year tenure at Ethos, Ms. Nicholson has developed deep expertise and experience in ESG reporting, compliance and administration. She worked on the inaugural 2015 Sustainability Report, and each subsequent Sustainability Report. Ms. Nicholson sits on the Social & Ethics Committees of most of the Ethos portfolio companies as an observer as well as on the Ethos Sustainability Committee.
Ms. Nicholson holds a Diploma in Business Administration.
