Seyed Mansouri is a Quant Research Consultant. He is based in New York.
Prior to joining TRG, Mr. Mansouri served as a research and teaching assistant at Columbia Business School, where he also earned an MPhil in Finance. Mr. Mansouri holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Columbia Business School. With a research focus on analyzing the impact of capital market frictions and financial policies on the real economy, he brings both empirical and theoretical approaches to his work in developed and emerging markets.
Born and raised in Iran, Mr. Mansouri holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics and a Master of Science in Economics from Sharif University of Technology. In addition to his academic achievements, he is also a gold medalist in Mathematics Olympiad and is fluent in Persian and English.
